When I was little, I wanted to be a radio dj the worst way- I used this cassette recorder to sample my favorite radio songs & mix and match vibes like I was running a show. 😂 I also called in to stations all the time requesting tunes (um am I aging myself here? ...maybe? definitely. but um yeah that was a major slumber party move & I’m owning it.)…

Read MoreDo you remember those exercises in elementary school where you’d have a whole word bank of adjectives & you’d have to choose 5 and make them into a sentence? Like, “The sheep is fast and pretty and brave and sensitive and angry?” And you would just wildly choose them at random because homework and let’s get it done, right?…
Read MoreWhat’s on your holiday shopping list this year? Whether it’s clothes, jewelry, art, cannabis accessories, sex-positive stuffs, or plants, have you thought about buying local? I am super inspired this year to shop locally, especially for the holidays, and thanks to so many of you on Instagram, I’ve put together a list of Denver brands, Colorado goodies, and a few non-local but small businesses worth supporting!…

Read MoreIf 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that pausing for self-reflection is: 1) important to do often; 2) can help you make decisions; 3) might bring up a lot of uncomfortable sh*t! Not happy with your job/relationships/body/self? Being quarantined and forcing yourself to think about whatever it is that you are unhappy or uncomfortable with isn’t always going to leave you feeling fuzzy...
Read MoreLast fall in Madrid, I went to a flamenco show at Cafe Chinitas. There were maybe 10 of us in the crowd, so this wasn’t some packed show, and I was seated front row, right next to the stage. It was lit though, crowd or not, because the performers onstage were clearly ARTISTS in their ELEMENT and they danced like this was a packed theatre!
Read MoreI’m a big believer in visualization: Before I ever started freelancing as a content creator and traveling, I pictured myself doing it. I know it sounds weird. But I just started imagining myself working from a laptop and seeing the world. And then one day I was. There was a lot of work to get there, sure. But I kept visualizing it, all the time. Sometimes now I even get this weird deja-vu kinda feeling where it’s less of a, “Did I do this before?” and more of a, “Didn’t I picture myself here once and now it’s kind of happening?”

Read MoreOne of the most fun parts of our trip was treating ourselves to hot chocolate and churros at Chocolatería San Ginés. The chocolate is thick for dipping, not for sipping (learned this the hard way)! We had an amazing dinner at Café Comercial; make sure to have a reservation to enjoy this spot. Breakfast at Adorado Bar is a must and will fill you up for the whole day. We also had seafood paella at a casual lunch spot we happened upon. I wish I’d caught the name; it was delicious.
Read MoreOur first day was a full Antoni Gaudí experience! We visited Park Guell, did a self-tour of the semi-creepy but beautiful Sant Pau, entered the magnificent Sagrada Familia (worth every cent!), and did a walking tour to see Casa Batlló, Casa Amatller, Casa Lleo Morera, Casa Mila La Pedrera, and Casa Vicens (which is very close to the AirBnB I stayed at by the way). The next day we toured Museu Picasso…

You can read my full feature on that adventure here. Below I’ve also offered other options for things to do in the area in case you want to explore the city a little more than I did on my last stay…
Read MoreI wore these black skinny jeans, a vintage Garage Bomber Jacket but I’d recommend any of their jackets, a basic striped H&M jersey top, an oversized scarf, and these Steve Madden black slip-ons. For nighttime, I wore a sundress like this one with these Eurosoft Rayelle Wedge Sandals and the aforementioned jacket and scarf. Since I was backpacking around, I did a lot of rotating the same wardrobe on my European adventure…

Whether you’re bopping at festivals, dancing at holiday parties, or popping bottles on New Year’s Eve, this little cam is the perfect way to record your night’s festivities. The lighting reel on the front self-adjusts for indoor or outdoor settings and the film is actually a bit cheaper than Polaroid’s…
Read MoreI always find myself reflecting on the past year around the holidays. Between the decorating, the shopping, the dinners, and the parties, it’s important to take some time to think about where you’re at and where you’re going. After all, New Year’s Resolutions are right around the corner! So this week, I took some time to look at my last year and reflect on some of the things I’m most grateful for. Here’s my list of ten things I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving:
Read MoreI recently got really into highlighter palettes. Like I bought five of them from Tarte (yay for cruelty free!) and I’ve been using them with all my photoshoot friends. I can’t help it- I love the shimmer they add to any look! A little goes a long way though, and that’s why I love Mikasa Beauty’s brushes!
