Read MoreA picnic at Paris’ Champ de Mars is a must; so is a snack at La Place Creperie in Versailles. For the Paris picnic, we just stopped at a Franprix and picked up apples, French cheeses, smoked salmon, cucumber, chips, and wine. It was quite honestly one of my favorite meals on my entire European adventure. I highly recommend picnicking at Champ de Mars if you can- at dusk the Eiffel Tower lights turn on and it’s such a splendid time. A true highlight!
