Have you been feeling totally drained lately? 😣
Me too…
I remember the high that I used to get walking into this venue & so many others before a show. ✨ I used to show up quite early as a concert photographer- I loved meeting with everyone who worked the venues, making small talk, watching the opener & crew setup, taking some test shots, photographing early crowd members. And the rush was even higher when…

Supporting #smallbiz in #Denver is important now more than ever which is why I’m always trying to feature them for you! Here are my go-tos:
Remember when I stayed with Hotel Boulderado last year for a life of luxury? The 5-course meal at Spruce Farm & Fish, the speakeasy drinks at License No. 1, the turn-down service with chocolate and a fuzzy robe? Ummm yeah me too because oreos in my bed for 2020 just haven’t managed to come close…
Read MoreWhat’s on your holiday shopping list this year? Whether it’s clothes, jewelry, art, cannabis accessories, sex-positive stuffs, or plants, have you thought about buying local? I am super inspired this year to shop locally, especially for the holidays, and thanks to so many of you on Instagram, I’ve put together a list of Denver brands, Colorado goodies, and a few non-local but small businesses worth supporting!…
Read MoreWho knew we’d be entering the holidays under these circumstances. No vision board could have quite predicted this one bbz, but here we are, so let’s make the most of it! Here’s how to Halloween during a pandemic:
Read MoreThis weekend, I took an adventure to a different set of Colorado peaks, this time featuring a tiny town called Como full of abandoned railroad buildings which leads to the spellbinding Boreas Pass. Boreas Pass Road ascends from Como, winds along the Continental Divide at over 11,400 feet, and descends into downtown Breckenridge. It’s one of Colorado’s top #leafpeeping destinations, an hour drive, and has some of the most gorgeous golden and red aspens you’ll find in the state. It’s been my #1 leaf-peeping destination so far!
Read MoreLast weekend, I visited the #SpanishPeaks of Colorado and per your request, here’s a guide of where to stay and things to do! Jet down before snow season to enjoy their peak fall weather and the color change of the leaves. 🍃🍂 BTW: Looking for the top 11 places to see Colorado’s leaves change? I wrote a guide on that for you too!
Read MoreThese past few weeks have been a real whirlwind of emotions, am I right? There have been ups and downs, no matter who you are or where you are right now. Sometimes it has felt tough to celebrate all of the moments that typically make up our lives: the graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, and everything in between. We’ve been self-quarantining, sheltering in place, safer at home-ing for weeks now and the world looks strange!
Read MoreOne of the most fun parts of our trip was treating ourselves to hot chocolate and churros at Chocolatería San Ginés. The chocolate is thick for dipping, not for sipping (learned this the hard way)! We had an amazing dinner at Café Comercial; make sure to have a reservation to enjoy this spot. Breakfast at Adorado Bar is a must and will fill you up for the whole day. We also had seafood paella at a casual lunch spot we happened upon. I wish I’d caught the name; it was delicious.
Read MoreOur first day was a full Antoni Gaudí experience! We visited Park Guell, did a self-tour of the semi-creepy but beautiful Sant Pau, entered the magnificent Sagrada Familia (worth every cent!), and did a walking tour to see Casa Batlló, Casa Amatller, Casa Lleo Morera, Casa Mila La Pedrera, and Casa Vicens (which is very close to the AirBnB I stayed at by the way). The next day we toured Museu Picasso…
Read MoreAfter you’re properly suited, the real fun begins! You “fall” into the tunnel- hips first and arms wide up. You’ll be surprised at how you’re already flying from the moment you fall forward. Your guide will help move you to the center of the tunnel, fly up toward the tunnel’s ceiling (which you’ll notice I do with my guide John in the video each time I '“disappear,” as some of you put it), and of course, you’ll snap some pics together…
Read MoreI’ve actually lived in Boulder, Colorado before, so it was a treat to be invited back by the historic Boulderado Hotel for a stay recently. You can read my full feature on that adventure here. Below I’ve also offered other options for things to do in the area in case you want to explore the city a little more than I did on my last stay…
Read MoreI had dinner at the Brauhaus Reissdorf, which was right across from where I stayed in Cologne. It poured rain during our dinner, but we sat on a covered outdoor patio with brews and had a blast. The staff were very friendly and helped me practice ordering my dinner in German because they wanted to and not because I asked…
Read MoreI wore these black skinny jeans, a vintage Garage Bomber Jacket but I’d recommend any of their jackets, a basic striped H&M jersey top, an oversized scarf, and these Steve Madden black slip-ons. For nighttime, I wore a sundress like this one with these Eurosoft Rayelle Wedge Sandals and the aforementioned jacket and scarf. Since I was backpacking around, I did a lot of rotating the same wardrobe on my European adventure…
Read MoreA picnic at Paris’ Champ de Mars is a must; so is a snack at La Place Creperie in Versailles. For the Paris picnic, we just stopped at a Franprix and picked up apples, French cheeses, smoked salmon, cucumber, chips, and wine. It was quite honestly one of my favorite meals on my entire European adventure. I highly recommend picnicking at Champ de Mars if you can- at dusk the Eiffel Tower lights turn on and it’s such a splendid time. A true highlight!
Read MoreFish & chips (duh!) with a Guinness at a classic English pub. I love grabbing Guinness overseas because they pour it correctly and that makes all the difference! The best part of this dish was that it came with a side of dipping curry for the fish, a treat which I learned is pretty standard in London pubs for this dish. It was amazing! I also ate at a lovely Indian restaurant near Camden Market…
Read MoreThe White Coloured Studio Avenue Henri Dietrich Airbnb was one of my favorite stays of the trip. Though it was a necessary 13-minute Uber ride away from Grand Place, it was roomy, clean, and cool. The host provides amazing little amenities throughout the room like makeup remover pads, tons of books and maps on nearby activities, and extra linens. It was a spacious studio setup and easy entry…
Read MoreI visited Bruges’ Markt, Burg Square, climbed the Belfort Clocktower (totally worth it!), entered the Basilica of Holy Blood, and saw the Madonna of Bruges by Michelangelo at the Church of Our Lady (so beautiful!). Of course we had a photoshoot at the famous Rozenhoedkaai too! It’s truly picture perfect and everyone waits to take their photo there…
