Why You Should Try Denver's New Junction Food Hall
JUNCTION FOOD & DRINK
I FELA-FELL FOR @junctionfoodanddrink LAST WEEKEND.
Denver's newest food hall, @junctionfoodanddrink, is officially open today! I attended their VIP Soft Opening last weekend, and loved this new Mile High spot!
This chef-driven, 12,200 square foot food hall features Junction’s very own bar, and an eclectic collection of 11 artisanal food stalls including:
While the venue was set to open last March, they paused because of COVID, but are now open and following all the CDC guidelines so you can stop for a refreshment without worry. The entire place is very open-air, with several outdoor patio spots, there are hand-sanitizer stations throughout, attentive cleaning staff, masks required indoors, and all staff wear masks and gloves. If you were a bit nervous about being out and about right now, this is a great option because you can enjoy much of your meal outside.
What I Tried: @olivihuh & I went for lunch, so we had two Sonder Honey Lavender Oat Lattes and two Shawarma Shack Falafel Wraps. Sonder had the largest spot at Junction, with a whole merch section, socially-distanced counter space, and plenty of room for a line you’d feel comfortable standing in. I’d never had a Lavender Latte before- LIFE CHANGED.
Shawarma Shack’s Falafel Wrap was honestly the perfect lunch- super fresh, not too heavy, and with a very lightly fried falafel. Their staff was really friendly and I can’t tell you how nice it was to make smalltalk with someone for the first time in months. TRULY.
The Junction is located in Colorado Center, near Dave & Buster’s, at the crossroads of South Colorado Boulevard and I-25. If you ride the light rail, they’re just above the Colorado Stop, and would make a great pitstop on your commute in either direction.
