I can’t believe I photographed a Beatle. When I found out about the invite I laughed; then I almost cried. I’ve been a fan since I was born, raised by a father who played their music on repeat for my entire childhood. Singing along to “Yellow Submarine” with Ringo was something special, and the show happened to fall on my birthday eve! Thanks for the early bday gift Richard Starkey. This was a set I’ll never forget.
The first time I photographed The Revivalists was just over a year ago. It’s been amazing to watch this band take over the radio and the international touring realm since, so when they recently stopped by Red Rocks Amphitheatre for a sold-out show, I was stoked to be invited to catch them in action. This is a group with SO much energy, it pulsed among the 10,000 attendees from start to finish.

It's always an honor to photograph a Colorado band on the Red Rocks Amphitheatre stage. There's something special about these shows- the rocks become a huge community supporting one of their own. I was recently invited to photograph Denver's own Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats, and as an extra treat, Denver's Slim Cessna's Auto Club opened the night! Two Denver bands on the stage- what an evening!

Atlantic Records recently invited me to Portugal. The Man's sold-out Red Rocks Amphiteatre show and I wrote about it. Fresh off a Grammy and several other awards for their 2017 pop hit "Feel It Still," the "Lords of Portland" reigned the rocks.
